The number of pre-registrations is increasing to know the results of SSC and equivalent examinations by text message on mobile phones. More than seven and a half lakh candidates have registered for the last one week till 10:15 pm on Monday. The results of SSC and equivalent examinations, which are in doubt due to corona virus, will be released on May 31.

On the same day, at 10 am, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will announce the SSC and equivalent results of 2020 through video conference from the Prime Minister's official residence Ganobhaban.

Due to Corona, in the current situation, there is no opportunity to go to the educational institution and know the results of SSC and equivalent. For this, the education boards have made arrangements for the students to get the results more easily along with other methods of technology including the website as before.

In this system, the candidates who are pre-registering from now on will be automatically informed of the results on their mobile phones before the day of publication of the results. For pre-registration you have to send SSC Board Name (first three letters) Roll Year from any mobile operator's number to 16222. A charge of Tk 2 can be deducted for each SMS. This pre-registration process has started from last 16th May. It will run until 12 midnight on May 29.

Manjurul Kabir, senior systems analyst at the Dhaka Board of Education, told Prothom Alo that a total of 7,65,417 candidates had pre-registered till 9.48 pm on Monday. Of these, 3,69,759 have pre-registered through Grameen Phone. Two lakh 58 thousand 373 people have pre-registered through Robi operator, 69 thousand 6 people through Banglalink and 6 thousand 606 people through Teletalk. SSC and equivalent examinations were held last February. The total number of candidates was about 20 lakh.

If there was a normal time, the results would be released in the first week of this month. That's what he was talking about. But because of Corona, it is in the face of uncertainty. In this situation, the education boards said a few days ago, the results will be released within this month. To that end, the education boards have almost completed the preparations for publishing the results of the examination.
