The results of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be released on Sunday (May 31). At 10 am today, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will release the results and statistics of this year's SSC and equivalent examinations through video conference from Ganobhaban.



Later at 12 noon, the Minister of Education. Dipu Moni will share the details of the results on Facebook Live. Considering the health risks due to corona, media personnel are specially requested not to come to the briefing place. Video footage will be sent through BTV for electronic media.

All relevant documents will be mailed. Candidates will be able to know the results from 2 pm. The results of the examination can be known through the websites of the education boards as well as through SMS from mobile phones.

It may be mentioned that the written examination of SSC and Dakhil Vocational has ended on February 26 this year. The written test for submission ended on March 1. SSC and equivalent examinations started on February 3. The practical examination of SSC has been taken from 29th February to 5th March. The practical examination of SSC and Dakhil Vocational has been taken between February 29 and March 5.


The pass rate of SSC examination held under 9 boards of statistics is 83.75% and lowest Shylet Board 78.79.

  • Barishal Board 79.70%
  • Jessore Board 87.31%.
  • chottagram Board 84.75%.

  • Shylet Board 78.79. 

This year 20 lakh 46 thousand 699 candidates have taken part in the examination. Last year the number of candidates was 21 lakh 35 thousand 333 people. Out of the total students, 17 lakh 35 thousand 240 candidates have appeared for SSC examination this year, 2 lakh 61 thousand 254 candidates have appeared for SSC examination and one lakh 31 thousand 265 students have participated in SSC vocational examination.


Get SSC results, you need to send an SMS from any mobile operator to pre-register. For this you have to pre-register by writing SSC with space and first three letters of the name of the board i.e. Dhaka board if you have Dha then write roll number with space then write 2020 with space and send SMS to 16222. If submitted, you have to write DHA and send SMS in the same way.

As soon as the result is released, the result of the pre-registered examinee will be informed in the return SMS. Candidates can also know the results from the websites of the education boards.
